On Saturday, February 27, 2010 the US rugby community suffered a large blow. A long time steward of rugby, Michael Jones, suffered a potentially permanent paralyzing injury to his lower neck. He has had two surgeries in hopes for a correction to his current paralysis.
A member of the Albany Knickerbocker Rugby Football Club, Michael is not only a long time player, prop and friend of rugby, he is a proud husband and father of two young children. His wife Lisa has been steadfast and strong while staying down here in Florida (Ft. Lauderdale)by his side.
Donations to "The Jonesy Fund" can be made via pay pal at the Life University Alumni web site or by check by contacting the Albany Knicks RFC.
